Clipper Bestaendig's German warehousing operations total 400,000 square feet in size. The facilities are multi user and provide maximum flexibility for our range of customers, depending on product profile and customer need. We are committed to providing the latest in supply chain technology for our customers and our "real time" radio frequency (RF) warehouse management systems are world class and utilised by a number of manufacturers and retailer operations. A lot has been achieved in just a few months
Clipper Bestaendig was "born" in December 2008, following its acquisition by the Clipper Group.
The business was previously known simply as Bestaendig, and had enjoyed a steady growth curve through the last 15 years, where it enjoyed great success as a regional transport operator through areas of Germany, Spain, Poland and Austria. The strong management team, its success in its chosen markets and expertise at trading across Europe's borders were all critical in Clipper's decision to acquire Bestaendig in 2008, and the joint business has not looked back from that date.
Of course, we have continued to serve our old customers from 2008 and before, but we can now approach a whole new range of potential customers with the strength of the Clipper Group behind us. As well as their 25+ operating locations and a 200+ strong fleet of delivery vehicles in the UK, they combine with our team to provide a strong mix of commercial and operational experience, across a wide range of markets.
