With the support of the wider Clipper Group, we will achieve great coverage as a company. With locations across Germany and the UK, Clipper Bestaendig and the Clipper Group have excellent access to its core markets.

However, we do operate far beyond these boundaries.

 

German Partners

 

We do not yet have distribution centres in all areas within Germany, although that is our medium term aim. What we do have is a network of centres in the areas that are important to our customers and where they need to deliver into. Until we expand this network, we will continue to make good use of local subcontractors, who have both specialist knowledge of local German regions, and crucially provide access to backhaul movements for our vehicles. These allow us to tap into local experts at competitive prices.

 

As a business, we welcome link ups with good German service partners who can bring benefits to both companies. We have an impressive network of facilities for partners to link to, and can likewise provide profitable business for our partners to operate for us. European Partners

The wider Clipper Group currently has its own distribution centres and delivery networks in Germany, the UK, Spain and Poland.

 

However, it does offer access to other networks across the rest of Europe, and boasts some impressive partners within countries such as France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Ireland, where we already carry out reasonable amount of work within our business.

 

Clipper Bestaendig trunks to and from these networks many times a week, using Gochsheim as a central hub. Through our own sites and service partners, we can  provide excellent delivery networks within these countries, based around key hub locations :

We currently work with a number of selected import agents for our customers in Germany and the UK, and have good connections with major import centres such as Hamburg.

 

As we are not part of a global logistics business, we can source international logistics often more competitively than many other logistics companies, who are tied into expensive commitments with sister companies. We have access to the complete market, one which currently has vast capacity and therefore one which is offering good deals to large, independent logistics companies like the Clipper Group.
