Clipper Bestaendig provides dedicated and multi-user transport and distribution solutions for suppliers, retailers and manufacturers in all the regions in which it operates.

 

We offer both primary and secondary transport services. Our primary distribution service covers the transport of goods from a manufacturing, production or import facility to a distribution centre. Secondary distribution covers the transport of goods from the Distribution Centre or Cross Dock facility to store, and includes planning routes and tracking deliveries, as well as physical distribution. Transport is provided via a mix of modes to minimise overall costs whilst still meeting required service levels and KPIs.

 

This network has recently been enhanced to provide a new and fast "door to door" service for German and UK retailers, providing very competitive consolidated freight services between both countries, which further strengthen Clipper Bestaendig's primary and secondary networks. With a modern fleet of vehicles based from our Gochsheim distribution facility, we are able to satisfy all of our customers transport requirements.

 

Clipper Bestaendig often operates vehicles in customer's liveries (corporate identification) for your use only and managed to your precise operating specifications. However, we also provide cost-effective multi user distribution services. Like dedicated contract fleet operations, multi user transport services are tailored to the individual requirements of our customers.

 

Through the use of sophisticated transport management systems, Clipper Bestaendig transport schedulers and operations personnel have full access to information about the location and status of all transport resources.

Typical services include network planning and design, route scheduling, load planning and optimisation, transport rate negotiation and transport / fleet management.
